Mini Nectarine tree
The miniature nectarine will produce sweet, very flavorful nectarines with beautiful red skin, something you will want to eat right off of the tree. You can start picking your fruit mid June to early July. This nectarine variety is a strong, vigorous tree growing to about 6 feet if not pruned, but easily clipped to shape. This dwarf nectarine is perfect for large containers, especially for households with minimal garden space, or for appartment dwellers looking for some color and great tasting fruit on their patios.
Protect the blossom from frost and if possible protect the leaves from rain from April to July to prevent Leaf Curl Fungus. This can be done by growing under a porch, in Conservatory, or balcony with roof overhead.
Brush the flowers in Spring with a cotton bud to assist pollination.
