Cornus Celestial Shadow
Found in the US by Don Shadow as a chance sport of Cornus x Celestial™, Cornus ‘Celestial Shadow’ is a florida kousa cross, growing up to 7 metres in 10 years. The plant, one of the more vigorous variegated Cornus kousa/ florida types, is notable for its clear, bright foliage with a red tint which arrives in spring and remains throughout autumn.
Cornus x ‘Celestial Shadow’ flowers in spring, producing bracts of 7cm in diameter and provides multiple seasons of interest. It offers an alternative to a tree where space is limited and makes an ideal gift plant.
Celestial Shadow is in our opinion the best variegated Dogwood on the market due to it's clean, disease free foliage and vigorous growth habit.
