Blackcurrant Ben Lomond
Ben Lomond is a high yielding blackcurrant with excellent flavour.
For those who live in colder areas and frost pockets, this is the blackcurrant that will deliver reliable yields year in and year out, cropping from late July or early August onwards.
Produces masses of large, heavy clusters of early sweet black currants good for cooking, preserving or eating fresh. Green-yellow blooms in spring and yellow autumn foliage.
Self-fertile.
A heavy cropping variety which makes a compact bush. Splendid for pies or jams.
