Bergenia ‘has intense red coloured autumn foliage & red flowers in early spring.
Grows up to 45cm tall.
The leaves reach about 15cm wide and are rounded sometimes called Elephant's Ears as the common name.
A very hardy and easy plant to grow ideal for the beginner gardener the leaves can be used in floral art arrangements good substance to the leaves.
The leaves come up green in the Spring and gradually turn red as the season progresses at there best in Autumn evergreen leaves.
Will grow in shade as well as full sun.
