Truffle trees are hazelnut trees that have been innoculated with the Truffle fungus. Truffles are a type of mushroom that grow on the roots of Hazel and Oak throughout Europe. Different types grow throughout the continent, from the Italian White to the French Black and the northern Summer Truffle (Tuber aestivum var. uncinatum) which is offered here .
